Lisa Ortenzi, MD, FACOG

Dr. Ortenzi was born in Los Angeles, Calif. She obtained her medical degree at the University of Florida, Shands Teaching Hospital where she graduated Cum Laude. During her career as a student, Dr. Ortenzi served as President of the Medical Class for three years and was awarded “Best Resident Teacher” for two years. Dr. Ortenzi is board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, of which she is a fellow member. She is also certified by the Accreditation Council of Gynecologic Endoscopy. Dr. Ortenzi joined Douglas Women’s Center, PC in 1982 as an obstetrician and gynecologist. She also served simultaneously as Chief of Staff and Vice Chief of Columbia Parkway Medical Center from 1991 to 1995.

Dr. Ortenzi no longer delivers babies; however, she remains dedicated to providing exceptional gynecological care to the patients of Douglas Women’s Center, PC. She is also the founder of the Douglas Women’s Center Med Spa. Cosmetic services available are hair removal, skin rejuvenation, Botox and Radiesse fillers for wrinkles.
