PATIENT PRIVACY – HIPAA FORMS

The providers and staff of Douglas Women’s Center take the privacy of our patients very seriously. We have provided links below to our HIPAA policy so that you will be well informed of our commitment to you.

Also, to insure privacy for all, the following policies are in place:

• Children must be supervised in the lobby area while the patient is being seen by the doctor. Our staff is unable to provide care for your children while you are being seen. There are many dangers to children in a medical office environment, making it unsafe for you to leave your children unattended.
• Please be aware that we cannot confirm to family members or friends of the patient, whether or not a patient is in the office, has been in the office, or is scheduled to be seen. No exceptions.
