Welcome Dr. Brittainy Dark!

Douglas Women’s Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Brittainy Dark to our OB/GYN practice.

Dr. Dark received her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine and completed her residency at University of Texas - Houston, serving as chief resident from June 2009 to June 2010.

She has an impressive background, having received several awards to include:

• Ob/Gyn Administrative Chief Resident, 2009-2010 Resident Award in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
• 2006-2007 National Healthcare Scholars Foundation, Scholarship Recipient
• 2003-2006 Fitzroy Younge Ob/Gyn Society National Medical Association  Scholarship Award Recipient, 2006

In addition to her outstanding academic achievements, Dr. Dark is also a compassionate individual when it comes to humanitarian projects. She has participated in many volunteer events such as serving during a Belize Medical Mission trip to Belize City, Belize where she provided medical care to several rural and underprivileged areas, as well as donated medical supplies and operated day clinics in Caye Caulker and Punta Gorda.
